This will be strictly a celebration of Jesus' 'triumphal' entry into Jerusalem. (The Passion reading will take place in the Good Friday Service.)

The liturgical colour is red, and you are invited to wear red if you feel so inclined.

Imagine you are part of the crowd that is lining the route, so bring branches or flowers to wave, or a scarf/shawl and/or placards from demos etc. to wave or hold up if you like. Joanna Manning is coordinating worship

Friday, April 2 10:30 AM

This will be a solemn service that includes the reading of The Passion. No preparation is required.

You might wish to have a hot cross bun and beverage on hand to enjoy after the service.

Saturday, April 3 8 PM

This is a service which celebrates the return of light through the lighting of the new fire and re-telling the story of the death and resurrection of Christ along with other scriptures and reference to baptism.

You are invited to gather online at 7:45 PM with worship beginning at 8 PM.

For full participation in worship you are asked to have a candle, a small bowl of water, bread or cracker with honey and a beverage.

Sunday, April 4 10:30 AM

This is our big Easter service with flowers, the return of alleluias, lots of music and celebration.

Opportunities for participation today:

• Wear an Easter Bonnet or something festive that we can see on screen.
• Bring bells and shakers for the opening hymn and more. (We won’t be able to hear each other, but would love to see them.)
• Alternatively you could create a Hallelujah banner to wave.
• If you grew an Easter Garden there will be opportunity to share.

We will share food and drink and encourage a special table setting: a festive cloth, a candle or more, flowers, greenery, a symbol of new life. Keep it simple or dress it up, whatever seems good to you.
